A wonderful SEN school in Wandsworth is looking for a passionate and dedicated KS3 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, teaching students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, permanent position at a wonderful SEN school in Wandsworth
- Teach a broad and engaging KS3 curriculum tailored to the needs of students with SEN
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that encourage confidence, independence, and academic progress
- Work closely with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and therapists to provide a holistic learning experience
- Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports each student’s individual learning journey
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS3 students, preferably within an SEN setting
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, behaviour management, and inclusive practices
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to supporting students with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS check required
