Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computing lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, covering a wide range of topics including programming, IT, and digital literacy.
- Develop a curriculum that prepares students for GCSE and A-Level exams while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported to excel in computing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Computing at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging.
