Your Role as a KS2 SEN Class Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to support students with a range of learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
🔹 Differentiate the KS2 curriculum to ensure accessibility and individual progress.
🔹 Foster a positive and structured classroom environment, promoting students' confidence and independence.
🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO, support staff, and parents.
🔹 Use adaptive teaching strategies, including multi-sensory approaches, to engage and support students.
🔹 Work closely with therapists and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience.
🔹 Assess and track student progress, ensuring interventions are effective and tailored to individual needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a specialist or inclusive setting.
✅ A creative, patient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
✅ Strong knowledge of differentiation strategies and SEN teaching techniques.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
