Are you a passionate and dedicated HLTA or Cover Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity in a nurturing primary school? A welcoming and supportive school in Ealing is seeking a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and a Cover Supervisor to join their team. Your Role as an HLTA:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging small-group and intervention sessions.
🔹 Provide support in the classroom, working closely with the teacher to enhance learning.
🔹 Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring a positive and structured learning environment.
🔹 Support students with SEN and additional learning needs, fostering confidence and independence.
🔹 Assist with assessment and progress tracking, working collaboratively with the wider school team.
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:
🔹 Supervise whole-class lessons in the teacher’s absence, ensuring a calm and productive environment.
🔹 Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
🔹 Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
🔹 Support students with their work and provide guidance where needed.
🔹 Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure a smooth learning experience.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience as an HLTA, Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role in a primary setting.
✅ A passionate and flexible approach to supporting children’s learning.
✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills.
✅ The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
