Your Role as a Secondary SEN Class Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs.
🔹 Use adaptive teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students.
🔹 Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated.
🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.
🔹 Encourage students' independence, confidence, and social skills through innovative teaching approaches.
🔹 Assess and track student progress, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience.
🔹 Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them engaged in their child’s education.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching SEN students (Secondary experience preferred).
✅ A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
✅ Experience in SEN settings or a strong understanding of differentiated learning approaches.
✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
✅ A positive, patient, and proactive approach to education.
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
