Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
🔹 Support students with emotional, behavioural, and special educational needs in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
🔹 Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons to ensure all students are engaged and making progress.
🔹 Provide behavioural support, helping students build confidence and self-regulation skills.
🔹 Encourage social and emotional development to support students in their personal growth.
🔹 Help maintain a structured and positive learning environment to promote a calm and productive classroom.
🔹 Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans (IEPs).
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker (desirable but not essential).
✅ A genuine passion for working with students who have complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
✅ Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
✅ Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
✅ Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
