Your Role as a Graduate LSA:
🔹 Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
🔹 Work closely with subject teachers to support differentiated learning for students of all abilities, including those with additional needs.
🔹 Assist with the preparation of learning resources and help students with their academic progress during lessons.
🔹 Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging positive behavior and self-confidence.
🔹 Help track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
🔹 Support students in developing key skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
🔹 Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Degree qualification (in any subject), with a passion for working in education.
✅ Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or previous LSA experience) is preferred but not essential.
✅ A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students in their learning.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
✅ A keen interest in developing a career in education and working towards a teaching qualification in the future.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
