Your Role as an SEN Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver individualised learning for students with EHCPs in a small, nurturing environment.
🔹 Use a range of teaching strategies to support children with autism, speech & language difficulties, and other complex needs.
🔹 Work closely with SEN specialists, therapists, and support staff to create a holistic learning experience.
🔹 Implement EHCP targets and monitor student progress effectively.
🔹 Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
🔹 Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
🔹 Support in developing strategies for behaviour management and communication skills.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or SEN specialism preferred.
✅ Experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism, speech & language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
✅ A strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiated learning, and SEN best practices.
✅ A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching and behaviour management.
✅ Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student development.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
