Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team in Landskrona. This role focuses on quality assurance and testing for automated door systems, ensuring these products meet the highest standards for safety, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute automated tests on door systems in our test lab.
- Develop and maintain test cases, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing methods, specifications, test platforms, and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality at launch.
- Troubleshoot and analyze issues in electromechanical systems and embedded software.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in developing automated tests for electromechanical products/systems with embedded software.
- Strong programming skills in C# with basic knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Vector CANoe and knowledge of product technologies like CAN (Controller Area Network), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and sensors.
- Proficiency with Git, integrated software development environments, and code reviews.
- Understanding of maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic electronics knowledge with the ability to perform troubleshooting tasks.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for task management and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Education and Experience
- A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- At least 5 years of experience in testing electromechanical products and systems.
- Experience in multinational companies is a plus.
