Your Role as Science Teacher:
🔹 Deliver Engaging Lessons – Teach a range of science subjects, from biology to physics, in a dynamic and hands-on manner.
🔹 Encourage Inquiry and Discovery – Foster curiosity and critical thinking in students through experiments and problem-solving activities.
🔹 Assess and Monitor Progress – Regularly assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
🔹 Collaborate with Colleagues – Work with other departments to support cross-curricular learning and development.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching science, preferably in an independent school setting.
✅ Passionate About Science – A genuine enthusiasm for science and the ability to inspire students to engage with the subject in a hands-on and practical way.
✅ Innovative & Engaging – A creative approach to teaching that encourages students to explore scientific concepts through experimentation and inquiry.
✅ Skilled in Scientific Disciplines – A strong background in biology, chemistry, physics, or general science with the ability to teach across these areas.
✅ Empathetic & Supportive – A caring and patient teaching style, capable of supporting students at various stages of their scientific education.
✅ Strong Communication Skills – The ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents to support students’ academic and personal growth.
✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
