Our client is a leading international consultancy specializing in technology solutions and digital transformation. With a well-established presence in Malta and expanding operations in Cyprus, they offer a wide range of services, including ERP implementations, IT solutions, web development, digital marketing, and strategic consultancy.
We are seeking a 1st Line IT Support Executive to provide first-level support to end-users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of IT systems and infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and customer service, looking to build a strong foundation in IT support.
Location: On-site, Hamrun
Responsibilities:
As a 1st Line IT Support Executive, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic networking problems.
- Offer Microsoft 365 support, including email and cloud applications.
- Log and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd or 3rd line support teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions.
- Set up and configure desktop systems, mobile devices, and user accounts.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience or strong interest in IT support roles.
- Understanding of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and services.
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English and Maltese (written and spoken).
- A valid driving license is (due to mobility during working hours).
