We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our client’s global team and play a key role in driving responsible business practices and delivering high-quality non-financial reporting. You will lead the development and oversight of data processes that support transparent and compliant sustainability disclosures. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure accurate, consistent, and audit-ready data across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas. This role is central to producing key materials such as the annual sustainability report, investor disclosures, and submissions to sustainability ratings agencies.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain robust processes for collecting and validating sustainability-related data.
- Strengthen internal controls to ensure auditability and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with teams such as HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, and EHS to gather accurate and timely information.
- Support the assurance process for published data, working closely with external auditors.
- Monitor regulatory developments related to sustainability reporting and advise on compliance strategy.
- Contribute to reporting deliverables, including the annual Responsibility Report, CDP, MSCI, ISS, and Sustainalytics submissions.
- Conduct internal reviews of data and reporting processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Train key stakeholders on reporting standards, processes, and internal control expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in sustainability, non-financial reporting, or ESG data management in a corporate or regulated setting.
- Familiarity with global reporting standards and evolving disclosure requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset and process orientation.
- Experience working with external auditors or assurance providers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and geographies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data governance tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting methodologies is a strong advantage.
