About the German Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated German Teacher to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful German Teacher will have the opportunity to teach German across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the German language and culture.
Responsibilities of the German Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality German lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to explore the German language and develop their communication skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in German, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and departmental resources.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of German teaching.
- Support the Christian ethos of the school and contribute to its distinctive values.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in German or a related field.
- Experience teaching German at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for German.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for German and a commitment to inspiring students.
