Pre-Litigation Team Lead
Career Consulting Partners has formed a partnership with one of the most successful injury firms in the state of California. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Prelitigation Team Lead to oversee a team of case managers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury law, particularly in the prelitigation phase, and will possess strong leadership and organizational skills. This role involves ensuring that all cases are handled efficiently, meeting deadlines, and providing the highest level of client service.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Manage a team of 3-6 case managers, providing oversight, conducting monthly file reviews, and ensuring the effective handling of medical treatment, settlements, and client concerns in pre-litigation matters.
- Oversee all new case assignments, identifying critical issues such as statutes of limitations, additional injured parties, and medical complexities, and develop action plans in collaboration with case managers.
- Review medical reports, ensure appropriate treatment recommendations, and make informed decisions regarding case readiness for demand, settlement negotiations, and policy limit evaluations.
- Prepare and review critical case documentation, including demands, medical rosters, breakdowns, and releases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Collaborate with intake, medical records, and lien departments, assist with client engagement, and provide guidance to case managers on resolving complex or unique challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on prelitigation.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a legal setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and prelitigation processes.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in legal case management software.
- Reliably commute to or planning to relocate to Los Angeles, CA (90010).
- Spanish Bilingual required
- Licensed to practice law in California
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- Base Compensation: $170,000 - $200,000
