
FPGA Design Engineer
Description:
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our team focused on developing high-performance solutions for a range of applications, including power electronics, control systems, and advanced automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing FPGA-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop FPGA architectures and digital circuits tailored for applications such as renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and industrial automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications, contributing to innovative solutions in the field of power and energy management.
- Perform simulations and validation of designs to ensure functionality and performance under varying operational conditions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs in laboratory and field environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Document design processes, test results, and project progress, providing clear communication to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in FPGA design and development using VHDL or Verilog.
- Familiarity with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
- Experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and high-speed design.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim or Questa.
- Strong understanding of digital design principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply best practices in FPGA design.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) for thorough validation of designs.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, Ethernet) relevant to embedded systems applications.
