The project and the team
We invite you to become a part of our team as a Junior Network Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you'll contribute to the operational excellence of our leading SD-WAN system's test automation framework, collaborating with a globally recognized networking company.
Your role
As a part of the Network Test Automation team, you will be responsible for:
- Test Maintenance: Ensure the test scripts are executed correctly and maintain their performance.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and resolve any failures or issues in the test execution process.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with product and test development teams regarding any defects found.
- Professional Development: Gain valuable experience and knowledge in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced engineers.
Do we have a match?
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python for test automation
- Proven knowledge of computer networks, including protocols, services, and system configuration
- Experience working with the Linux command-line tools
- Familiarity with Git version control
Nice-to-haves:
- Hands-on experience with configuring and utilizing virtual machines
- Familiarity with configuring network routers/switches
- Previous exposure to SD-WAN / WAN technologies
- A QA certification would be an additional asset
