Our client is a spin-off company with 15 members based in Europe and Asia. They develop innovative solutions to reduce the size and improve energy efficiency of AC-DC power supplies (chargers). Combining both GaN IC component and advanced AC-DC system architecture with firmware, they are opening the possibility to make smaller, lighter and more efficient power supplies These innovations targets 3 markets: consumer, e-mobility and industrial.
In order to address the fast and growing demand for GaN, our client wants to reinforce their Asian team with a Field Appication Engineer.
MISSIONS

Promote company’s solutions based on business strategy

Helping customers to understand and adopt products and demoboards
- Build a strong relationship with customers, distributors and partners to create an ecosystem around the company
- Conduct technical training and onsite support to solve issues
- Support schematic and PCB layout review
- Collaborate with power supply partners (controller, driver, …)

Analyze market trends, customer requests, competitor products portfolio

Cooperate closely with sales and management team in France and Asia
- Contribute to give inputs to RD to improve portfolio products and innovation
- Participating to business growth
PROFILE
- Graduate engineer or equivalent in electronics / Power electronics

10+ years of experience in electronics, ideally in switching power supply development
- Experience acquired at Power supply manufacturer, semiconductor Power companies or distributors
- 5+ years as field application engineer
- Strong knowledge on hardware conception (schematic and layout)
- Familiar with power supply topologies like Flyback, PFC-LLC
- Practical electronics or lab experience desired with good power debugging capabilities
- Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken)
- Curious, autonomous, rigorous
- Strong teamwork spirit
