Your Mission as a Cement and Drilling Fluid Coordinator
As a Cement and Drilling Fluid Coordinator, your core mission is to manage and optimize the fluid and cement operations for our drilling and well services department. You will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are environmentally compliant and efficient, contributing to the successful development of both onshore and offshore fields. Your role will involve strategic planning, daily supervision, and continuous improvement of operations to achieve cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Cement and Drilling Fluid Coordinator
- Prepare and implement programs and procedures for fluids (including completion fluids) and cements.
- Ensure proper treatment of discharge produced by drilling and well operations, and ensure all products used are environmentally friendly.
- Supervise daily Mud Cement operations, validate daily reports, and issue all required technical reports for the final well report.
- Conduct studies related to mud and cement operations, perform technical syntheses, and seek performance improvement.
- Provide technical solutions for unexpected operational difficulties, ensuring efficient and practical implementation.
- Anticipate material and product needs on the rig site, including emergency situations.
- Coordinate fluid and cement operations and engineering tasks within company's development program.
- Optimize provider activities, assess their performance, and follow up on quality control tests from contractors or international labs.
- Prepare the technical part of tenders, manage corresponding contracts, and ensure invoice compliance with services performed.
- Contribute to budget preparation, manage rig site fluids and cement cost control, and follow up on incurred costs.
- Guarantee accurate engineering studies related to fluids and cement.
- Ensure close cooperation between fluids and cement supervisors and drilling supervisors at the rig site.
- Drive the efficiency of fluid operations through continuous improvement of equipment, services, and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Cement and Drilling Fluid Coordinator

Education: B.Sc. in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: In-depth knowledge of mud and cement products/additives, completion fluids/stimulation products and techniques, and specialized software.

Skills:
- Good team working skills, verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
- Understanding of geological and chemical aspects.
- Good knowledge of reservoir models and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with API rules.
