The department organization is responsible for providing enablers needed for product engineering to become an agile SW company as well as preserving the current strong HW capabilities, by creating and maintaining intuitive information models, processes, methods, and tools with E2E flow optimization as guiding principles.
Responsibilities:
Working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer within Team Akela, who is supporting the agile SW development teams across RD for various quality-related activities. (e.g. quality assuring external supplier SW, supporting In-house developed software, performing SW joint reviews SW delivery reviews, etc.)
Expected skills
- Experience in software development, a good understanding of what various software disciplines consist of, such as procurement/contracting of software, requirement management, SW design, SW integration testing, CM, SW quality, SW Approval, SW auditing, etc. and related SW work products/ documents.
- Knowledge of specific routines for SW agreements (ESOW/SWSOW), SW approval (PPAP), SW review framework, and Automotive SPICE is meritorious.
Personal qualities
- M.Sc or B.Sc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Able to work flexibly in cross-functional and cross-organizational teams
- Great Communication skills, spoken and written English
- Self-managed, while being a good team player.
