Reporting to the HSE Manager:
The position is based at NCS, Survilliers (near Charles De Gaulle Airport).
Scope: Initially, the main focus will be the Survilliers facilty.
Specific competencies will be related to the site's pyrotechnic activity (formulation of pyrotechnic preparations and manufacturing of automotive pyrotechnic articles):
- Drafting and monitoring safety studies of pyrotechnic works in collaboration with the local team, CSSCT, and French administration
- Primary contact for the inspection of powders and explosives IPE and Labor authorities (for the pyrotechnics topics)
- Organizing and conducting pyrotechnic safety tests to evaluate personal or collective protective equipment, transport classification, risk division and behavior of articles, preparations, and substances.
- Legal survey, compliance assessments between pyrotechnic requirements and legal requirements, organizing and monitoring any action needed to reach full compliance
- Participation in the pyrotechnics working group (tests, waste, regulations, etc.) of SFEPA French professional union of pyrotechnical articles and fireworks manufacturer
Requirements:
- Bac +5 education
- Skills in pyrotechnics, ICPE/SEVESO/ATEX regulations, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
- Advanced English knowledge (both written and spoken)
