About the Science Department:
The Science department is a collaborative and supportive team with a shared passion for science. We foster a culture of inquiry and encourage students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiments and investigations.
About the Role:
- Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5.
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including experiments, demonstrations, and technology.
- Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.
- Foster a love of Physics in students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physics.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching Physics.
- Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
