About the Role:
- Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fieldwork, maps, GIS, and multimedia presentations, to bring Geography to life.
- Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
We are looking for:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Geography.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
