About the Role:
- Teach History across KS3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating diverse historical perspectives.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using a variety of resources, including primary sources and digital tools.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings, and lead extracurricular activities such as historical societies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong History subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
- Demonstrated experience teaching History to A-Level, with a track record of student success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.
