Your Role as SENCO:
• Oversee the SEND provision in the school, ensuring that students with additional needs receive the support they need to succeed.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement personalized learning plans for SEND students.
• Lead and manage the SEND team, ensuring the effective delivery of support across the school.
• Track and monitor the progress of SEND students, intervening as necessary to ensure their academic and emotional well-being.
• Ensure the school’s SEND policy is up-to-date and effective.
Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with a recognized SENCO qualification or the willingness to obtain one.
• Significant experience in SEND and working with a range of additional learning needs.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
