A dynamic and innovative Mixed Comprehensive School in Ealing is seeking a creative and skilled Design Technology (DT) Teacher to join our Technology department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to design, create, and innovate, developing their practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging DT lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate a variety of design and manufacturing techniques, including CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and traditional workshop skills.
- Facilitate student-led design projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and practical application of skills.
- Assess student progress through design portfolios, project presentations, and written work, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the DT curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current industry trends and technological advancements.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as design clubs, robotics competitions, and participation in design challenges, to enhance student learning and provide opportunities for practical application of skills.
- Maintain and organize workshop resources and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience teaching DT to GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on design and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in a range of design software, manufacturing equipment, and workshop skills.
- A passion for fostering creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in young people.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
