We are seeking an exceptional Year 3 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover contract starting in September 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to our wonderful Key Stage 2 students. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure each child’s academic and personal growth, while maintaining a positive and dynamic classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to Year 3 students
- Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress and well-being
- Ensure high standards of behaviour and foster a positive and respectful learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping children achieve their best
- Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3, is desirable
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- A positive, proactive attitude and a dedication to creating an inclusive learning environment
