Job Description
Our client, a well-established business advisory firm, is looking to recruit an Accounting Senior to join their growing team.
Location: On site - flexible - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Senior, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide accounting services and support to clients, responding to various requests in a timely and professional manner
Supervise and guide junior accountants, including reviewing their work and offering coaching as needed
Plan and manage deliverables across a client portfolio, working independently, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines
Report portfolio updates to management and assist in monitoring team performance and efficiency
Prepare accountancy files for audit and liaise with client auditors as required
Prepare management accounts in line with applicable accounting frameworks
Support in presenting management accounts to clients
Prepare and submit VAT Returns and Recap Declarations on behalf of clients
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant
Minimum of two to three years of local experience in a similar role
Familiarity with payroll processes will be considered an asset
Solid understanding of VAT regulations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office tools
