Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales / Account Manager to join the team and support the company’s expansion across global markets. Whether your background is more focused on new business development or account growth and retention, what matters most is your experience in fintech/payments and a solid understanding of the merchant journey.
You’ll work with high-risk clients and have a key role in building long-term partnerships, driving value, and supporting the full lifecycle of B2B relationships in the online payments space.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your background (sales or account management), your responsibilities may include:
New Client Acquisition: Identify and engage prospective merchants, present tailored payment solutions, and lead them through onboarding.
Account Growth & Support: Manage relationships with existing merchants, monitor their performance, and help them scale through upselling and optimization.
Client Onboarding: Guide clients through the onboarding process, coordinate with internal teams (risk, compliance, tech) to ensure smooth go-live.
Commercial Strategy: Support pricing discussions, volume forecasting, and contract negotiations.
Collaboration: Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams — translating client needs into internal actions.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, merchant expectations, and high-risk regulatory specifics.
Reporting: Track KPIs, pipeline status, and client health metrics to support internal planning.
Requirements
Language Skills: Fluent in English and Russian.
Experience: 2+ years in fintech or payments, ideally in a client-facing role — sales, account management, or a hybrid.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the payment ecosystem, including acquiring, transaction flow, risk factors, and merchant lifecycle.
High-Risk Experience: Familiarity with high-risk verticals and their unique requirements (e.g., onboarding, risk/compliance, chargebacks).
Client Relationship Skills: Able to build trust and credibility with both new and long-term merchants.
Analytical Mindset: Capable of interpreting client performance data and spotting areas for growth or improvement.
Proactive Approach: Takes initiative, owns tasks, and sees opportunities beyond the surface.
