Your Role as SENCO:
- Lead and oversee the school’s SEND provision, ensuring that students receive the necessary interventions and support.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Oversee the implementation of EHCPs and develop individualised support plans.
- Provide training and support for staff to enhance SEN teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring that the school remains at the forefront of inclusive education.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified SENCO with the NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete it).
- Experience working with students with a range of additional needs in a secondary school setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective SEN strategies.
- A collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
