DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, troubleshooting user-reported problems via email, phone, or ticketing systems, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), identifying and resolving performance issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment (computers, servers, printers) and handle component replacements or repairs.
- Install, update, and configure software applications, resolving compatibility issues and ensuring proper licensing.
- Support network-related tasks such as connectivity issues, IP configurations, and network hardware maintenance.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
- Coordinate with service providers to resolve internet connection issues.
- Ensure timely response to incidents and adherence to SLA requirements.
- Administer and maintain systems on Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring security, user management, and optimal system performance through updates and patches.
- Document solutions, maintain a knowledge base, and share best practices to foster team collaboration.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, actively pursuing relevant training and certifications.
REQUIREMENTS:

At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on networking and systems administration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls) and experience with troubleshooting and network monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in managing server environments (Windows, Linux), including user management, system updates, and basic configuration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and managing virtual environments.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer-oriented with a professional attitude and the ability to provide effective support to users at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge to contribute to team success.
- Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating user guides and maintaining clear, organized records.
- Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
