Sociology Teacher – Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their Humanities/Social Sciences department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons.
- Cover a range of sociological topics, theories, and research methods.
- Encourage students to analyze social issues, inequalities, and cultural diversity.
- Develop students' critical thinking, research, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for success in Sociology examinations (e.g., GCSE, A-Level).

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Sociology or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching Sociology at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sociology.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
