Your Role as SENCO:
- Oversee and manage the SEND provision across the school.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure appropriate interventions and support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring EHCPs and support plans are effectively implemented.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best SEN practices.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive school culture.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified SENCO with the NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete it).
- Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to SEN provision.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
