Role Highlights:
- Full-time, permanent position at a vibrant secondary school in Bromley
- Provide support for students with various special educational needs, both in the classroom and through one-to-one or small group interventions
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons that are differentiated to meet the individual needs of students
- Help implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress and set meaningful targets
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to engage, participate, and achieve their potential
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, promoting confidence and self-esteem
- Collaborate with SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role is desirable
- A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting students’ learning and well-being
- Enhanced DBS check required
