Skills
- Proficient in navigating and interpreting ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults
- Ability to modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700)
- Skilled in both gas and electric welding operations
- Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions
- Capability to determine and implement effective repair procedures
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions
- Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs to prevent recurrence
- Install, move, and align new and existing equipment
- Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment
- Complete machine repair records and maintain a neat work area
- Perform preventive and proactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment
- Carry out other related duties as assigned by supervision or team leader
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding
- Proficient at troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics
Education Requirements
- Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses)
