Your Role as a Primary SEN Class Teacher:
🔹 Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs.
🔹 Differentiate the primary curriculum to ensure all students can access and enjoy learning.
🔹 Foster a positive and structured classroom environment, promoting independence and confidence.
🔹 Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff.
🔹 Use adaptive teaching methods, including sensory-based learning, to meet the diverse needs of students.
🔹 Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to student support.
🔹 Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring learning strategies are effective and adapted when necessary.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
✅ Experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting.
✅ A creative, patient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
✅ Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and behaviour management.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
