We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to inspire and teach students at KS4 and KS5 in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of psychological theories and an enthusiasm for encouraging students to engage with the complexities of human behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and insightful Psychology lessons to students at KS4 and KS5, covering core topics such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, and research methods.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters critical thinking and a love for understanding the human mind.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that supports both academic and personal growth.
- Encourage a stimulating classroom environment that allows students to engage with real-world applications of psychological concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching resources, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 level.
- Strong subject knowledge and an ability to teach a range of psychological topics, including research methods and mental health.
