This exciting opportunity allows you to inspire and engage students at KS4 and KS5, helping them develop a deep understanding of psychological concepts and apply them to real-world situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons for KS4 and KS5 students, covering key areas such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, and developmental psychology.
- Develop a curriculum that challenges students while fostering critical thinking and an appreciation for the subject.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, providing tailored feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning and support student development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to make complex psychological theories accessible and engaging for students.
