Are you a dedicated Year 1 teacher with the vision to inspire young children and provide them with the foundations of their learning journey? If so, we want you to join our outstanding team at a primary school in Hillingdon.
We are seeking a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join our school for a fixed-term contract starting in September 2025. You will be working with a close-knit and enthusiastic team of teachers, helping children develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning.

Your Role:
- Deliver engaging, interactive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, with a focus on developing foundational literacy and numeracy skills
- Work closely with the SENCO and other teaching staff to ensure all students are supported, including those with additional needs
- Create a stimulating classroom environment where students feel excited about learning and are motivated to participate in activities
- Track and monitor student progress, providing clear, constructive feedback and setting targets to ensure progress
- Support students in developing their social and emotional skills to thrive both inside and outside the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to track student development and share progress regularly
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS1 or EYFS settings
- Knowledge of current KS1 curriculum and an understanding of early years education approaches

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep young children engaged and motivated
- A passion for working with children and personalising learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver consistent, high-quality teaching

Creativity and adaptability in delivering engaging lessons
