This part-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to teach Health & Social Care up to KS5, preparing students for careers in healthcare, social work, and community service.

This Outstanding girls' school has a well-established Health & Social Care department, ensuring students receive a practical, real-world education in the healthcare and social services sector. With a focus on empathy, leadership, and professional development, students engage in work placements, community projects, and professional mentorship programmes.
Responsibilities
• Teach Health & Social Care across KS3, KS4, and KS5, delivering interactive and practical lessons
• Support students in developing knowledge of healthcare professions and social care systems
• Prepare students for BTEC and A-Level assessments
• Work collaboratively to enhance the Health & Social Care curriculum with hands-on learning opportunities
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, including work experience programmes and healthcare mentoring schemes
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Health & Social Care, Education, or a related subject
• PGCE or QTS
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care up to KS5
