The Role: We are seeking a Head of Marketing who is ready to drive our marketing strategy and elevate our brand presence in the sports industry. This is a unique opportunity for a tenacious marketer with a background in SaaS start-ups, who possesses a deep understanding of generating high-quality leads and executing impactful marketing campaigns. A passion for sports, particularly football or soccer, will be a significant advantage as you help us connect with our audience. You’re someone who wants to pioneer a leading-edge computer vision AI solution to positively disrupt the sports tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that balances inbound and outbound efforts to generate high-quality leads for our sales team.
Experience developing GTMs for AI is a plus, especially computer vision AI.
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
Build and manage a marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.
Utilize content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and events to engage our target audience and build brand awareness.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead generation goals and conversion strategies.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Maintain Kognia's brand voice and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a marketing leadership role within a SaaS start-up environment.
Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
Metrics Driven and process oriented
Previous exposure to or a genuine passion for the sports industry, with a focus on football/soccer being a plus.
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
A proactive, self-starter mentality with a tenacity to overcome challenges.
Experience in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems is preferred.
